Who is Mr Mancino? No it isn’t our last name……… Mancino means left handed in Italian. Left handed people are known for their creativity, which is a great thing to have as a chef.

Mr Mancino is a local family owned and operated Italian restaurant with a passion for great food. Coming from Italian heritage, food has always been a big part of our life. We create traditional Italian food from the finest and freshest ingredients just like Nonna made it.

Mr Mancino chef Daniel, grew up in his parents’ family run Patissiere, and Mrs Mancino, Lisa, worked at the Patisserie as an after school job. We have been inseparable ever since! Daniel then started his professional cooking career at 16 with an apprenticeship at the Sydney Hilton and continued to work in 5 star establishments in Sydney, London and Vancouver. Once back in Sydney and four beautiful children later, we opened a wholesale cake business, supplying Italian sweets to cafes and restaurants. A sea change brought us to the Sunshine Coast in 2016.
